For the first time in the history of Trinidad and Tobago's political history, one of the central constituencies has gone to the People's National Movement (PNM). A day that wll go down in history... This is a newly created constituency and it has proven that the support that was previously solidly in the opposition camp, has shifted, and shifted in a major way.

Mustapha Abdul-Hamid is the new Member of Parliament for Chaguanas East... Congratulations.
